Did you do a battery load test? I have an old fashion test from HF Costs about 25.00 USD It puts a bit load on the battery to see if it is good.

I would take your known good battery, recharge it thoroughly, and then load test it. No reason to replace more parts or take anything apart until you are 100% sure of the battery.
