2003 9-5 with auto trans. The gear shift cable bushing on the trans is shot. It held for a few months with two tie wraps that have now failed. I purchased a new cable and am in the middle of the repair. I have everything apart, center console, etc. The shift selector is out and the last thing I need to do is remove the small nylon ball on the end of the cable from the pin on the gear selector. Problem is, I can't figure out how to get it off!! There must be some trick I'm missing! Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
