Full rear suspension and Sub-Frame Bushings Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 5 Feb 2013 08:10:57 In Reply to: 2005 Aero SW project., BobD, Mon, 4 Feb 2013 09:45:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Aero wagons are notorious for softening of springs over time causing the tail to sag and drag. You may as well plan on replacing the rear springs and rear shocks before putting the car back on the road.
There was a short number of model years, which I *think* includes 2005, which had sub-frame bushings that failed very early. I am sure others will help identify the range of years but you will want to change these too if 2005 is in this span.
