I agree with jeff + 93b also, check your ride height. I went through all this previously: konis, spacers, etc.
That said, as I understand it, my saab indy aligns for closer to zero camber, b/c the saab spec is way too negative. He claims that in doing that, the cars do not exhibit uneven tire wear even if the ride height is low (ie even if you overload a wagon). I believe he slots to get there, and it is the most cost effective solution to this problem for most customers.
My 2004 arc shredded the insides of the front tires in about 3000 miles after I bought it used (with no evidence of uneven tire wear at the time of purchase!). Konis, spacers, and alignment by my indy and it no longer does this even though I have softer performance tires on it now. My ride height is not exact (slightly low), but closer to spec. So who knows which actually solved the problem, but it is all good now!
