The whole chemical composition of that plastic tank has changed from age and heat and no epoxi or anything will stop that so the tank will rupture at some point when you are on a long trip in hot weather and the pressure is at its highest peak.
You will see what I mean when you replace the radiator and take a plier and break off pieces around the upper hose fitting. And then when you try to do the same at the lower rad hose you will find that the plastic is as strong as when it left the factory.
The people with know how really calculated the composition of plastic to perfection in that only the difference in temperature between the hot and cold side of the radiator can be enough to deteriorate the plastic.
