I thought about it a little more and realized this wouldn't help with a worn engine as the oil flow volume would remain the same due to the constant volume pump. If anything this might even be detrimental as the oil would have more pressure allowing it to leak faster through the worn bushings and bearings, thus starving more oil from other places.
Ir might help a little with maintaining oil flow to remote areas of a newer engine, but 3.8 bar is ~55psig so oil starvation to the remote areas due to low pressure should never really be a problem.
