OK, had a few good nights sleep and lot's of soul searching.
Decided I am going to stick with the Aero. Tough to give up the luxury car features, decent mileage, and road feel.
So the next step is a complete suspension refresh. Ton's of info on the site, but wondering if anyone had a concise parts list with everything needed to do the job right? So far I have:
Shocks and struts - probably go cheap for now to fall in love with the car again, then upgrade as needed. Monro or KYB.
Strut mounts - do people typically replace with struts?
Sway bar links - moog
Sway bar bushings - do at same time as other components?
Ball joints - figure they're do at this point
Tie rod ends - figure it can't hurt
Front suspension bushings - assume I need rears? How hard is this? Should I do front's at the same time?
Subframe bushings - nice to have or needed at 130k?
Rear subframe bushings - getting creak/groan at back of car - assume it's these?
Rear suspension bushings - which ones? Bad cupping on rear tires. Figure this is going to be a bear from what I've seen on the net.
Spacers for ride height - at 23" for Aero. Will genuine saab spacers fit shocks other than Koni?
Shims - needed to fix toe/camber or will spacer do the trick?
Anything else I'm missing? Want to do this once with everything apart.
Thanks for helping me through this crisis :)
