by the way, rebuilding a turbo is not a bad job. I bought an OEM Mitsubishi kit on a big auction site for $80.00 and rebuilt mine. that was 15,000 miles ago and all is fine. I just had some play in the shaft when we took the engine down for rebuild.
the kit had new seals and bearings, circlips and o rings. My friend was going to help me, but he was in Sweden at the time so I went ahead and did it myself with the help of a couple of youtube videos.
If youi are at all a mechanic this is very doable.
