My cd player stopped playing cd's and just clicks when a cd is inserted. So I went to a pick n pull to scavenge parts, got a battery holder, a radio unit, the sid display, and the auto trans line, and the passenger side blinker lens with intact rubber surround for a total of 30$ amazing. My sid display is shorting out on some numbers, & i took a chance on the pic n pull sid.

Got home and swapped out the radio unit and of course it says radio lock, I got on Saab net and searched the problem and it seems a tec2 is needed.,.. Or is it? I opened up my radio unit and the pick n pull unit swapped the cd player in the radios then plugged my original radio back into the car with the pic n pull cd player installed in it, and its a Success, cd player works 100% and swapped out my sid with the pic n pull and its another Success with all the digits working perfectly, and to top it all off I received a new to me Journey cd out of the cd player. What a gr8 day ..everything just works.
