the notorious oil pressure switch leak...
total pain in the ass to fix for such a simple problem.
Pay your indy mechanic to do it. THe cost is worth the forgiveness of stress having to do it your self.
As a professional technician (and not that its the hardest thing I've ever had to do) I can not explain how tricky and involved this "simple repair" becomes. after having done a few hundred of them you develop some tricks and interesting tool adaptions to get them done faster/easily, but its never been a fun repair.
Typically, any more, we end up including a new oil pressure switch with every starter replacement. Just so we can avoid trying to sell it later (the additional cost is minimum).
That being said...couldn't your leaky oil pressure switch wait until you need a new starter? :} ...think about it.
