some of the 04/05 wagons were actually linears, not arcs. Afaik, the Linears do still have the Garret turbocharger, but probably got the updated PCV system. They are pretty rare, but a few here have them and could comment further.
Other than that, all the 04/05 sedans imported to North America are either Arcs or Aeros. The Arc for sure has the TD04 turbo and gets around 220hp. The Aeros have more power (250 or 260) are lowered, have nicer seats, and a brushed metallic dash. I went arc partly because I thought un-lowered would be better in snow, and partly for the somewhat lower insurance cost.
As AeroEd says, condition matters a lot, so an older well maintained Aero may be better to look into than a so-so 04/05 arc. However, for any pre-2004 models, extra due diligence is merited wrt the oil change history and sludge inspection. I think 2002 automatics seem to be having some slightly more frequent transmission issues also (than other years - trannys in these are mostly pretty good).
