04 aero, 95k. I need ear plugs and a kidney belt to drive this thing. I measure it to be about 1.5" too low, front and back. I have read all the archives here and at the other boards. There seems to be no concensus how to really fix this problem. Some use new OEM springs, some use Koni at top mount with old springs or Bilstein, FSD, Sports, or KYB, some use spacers, some replace bushings with OEM, some with poly. No real source for OEM length springs other than OEM which dont seem to last more than 30-40k. Just stiffer lowering springs availiable, Eibach, Vogtland. The last thing I want to do is slam an already slammed car.
Indie says alignment is way out front and rear due to the saggin'. I dont want a harsher ride than I already have to the shorter, stiffer springs are definitely out. He thinks that merely putting spacers in with bad springs is idiotic.
So you guys used Arc or Linear springs from Eeuro on your Aeros with FSD shocks and are happy? No bushing changes? Mine are groaning so bad they have to be coming apart at 95k. What else did you change out up front?
