2004 Aero Wagon 138K, new laser platinum plugs last week. Starts OK cold, but after a few trips, it cranks but does not fire. Eventually after many short attempts, it starts, then runs fine. I pulled out the DI, but left it connected and put 4 old plugs in it, with a ground wire... While my wife cranked it. There was no spark evident on any plug. I swapped in an older, but working DI, then it started, but the engine indicator came on.
After a 14 mile trip, it again wouldn't re-start without numerous attempts, then ran fine, even getting into the red on turbo boost. Upon returning home, I read the code P0337. Based on searching this list, that seems to indicate that it needs a new CPS, which has never been replaced. Before I order a new Bosch 0261210269 CPS, I would appreciate a few concurrences or advice as to what else could be wrong. Thanks!
