Unfortunately some questions are difficult to answer without hands on knowledge what was wrong, how bad it was wrong and how the repair was performed.
If the old turbo seals failed bad and filled the intercooler and exhaust system with oil, who knows how long it will take to get that all out.
So if the turbo seals were badly done for, at least, the intercooler should have been removed and tilted on the side until most oil was out and then flushed with detergent and hot water to get a little bit more out.
What's in the exhaust system will burn off but it probably will take more than 2-3 miles and running the car really hot and pushing it.
But if the intercooler is full, it is no use doing that yet.
