I just had my 30K service last week and my rotors were shot. Saab warranty covered them, but I had to pay $150 for pads and labor. I asked if this was because of the way I drove the car (although no different than I drove my Hondas that didn't need rotors until very late in life). Service guy told me that rotor metal is soft to aid in braking and that this is typical at around the 25K-30K mark on 9-5s. So kind of warned me to be alert around 55K to 60k mileage mark. Also said 99's aren't covered under warranty, only 2000s and later.
