The consensus on the board seems to be that Aero's are serious sports cars, hence it's the norm for rotors to wear out at 30k miles, even if you're not regularly braking from 140 mph everyday.
I have no doubt that I can replace pads myself, so if I find myself in similar situation as yourself, and rotors don't last 50,000 mile warranty, I'll have dealer replace rotors (under warranty), reinstall old pads (I'm assuming that I won't let them get to bare metal), drive home, put on new pads myself. Total out of pocket, what less than $40. That's with aftermarket pads. No way I'll put SAAB pads back on, unless they admit that Aero's (including mine) shipped with bad pads, or rotors. No excuse for these pads to have grooved my one front rotor the way they did at 1,400 miles.
