Ok, I pulled things off on the inside. My evaporator is getting cold. I am feeling some warm air coming through the inside of the evap housing though. My blend doors seem to be working and moving. I have looked at the left one in operation. The right side is fairly cool but he left side is not that cool.
But, the heater core is getting hot coolant. Apparently the coolant bypass valve is not stopping the coolant from circulating even though the acc is on lo. So, I am prepared to replace the bypass valve, but wonder what controls it and is it really bad, or is the acc control unit bad or is the solenoid(?) which controls the vacuum on the bypass valve bad. Any way to test this to know for sure?
