I stopped using ATE Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Sun, 28 Jul 2013 11:45:20 In Reply to: I stopped using BBA, saabsince 93b [Profile/Gallery] , Sun, 28 Jul 2013 06:55:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
ATE was the first company I started to send the Saab ABS modules to and it worked fine for a couple.
Then I recommended them to a friend in Hawaii and he got reamed badly when they botched the repair with no apologies or money back and then the next one I got from them was botched as well so I started to use BBA.
The first one was a BMW ABS module which didn't work after they sent it back repaired but at least I got my money back. After that, I have not had one bad rebuilt from them including ABS modules, SID, alarm sirens and a Volvo instrument cluster.
Other mechanics shoo at BBA and will only send to ATE or XeModex. Other mechanics will never send anything more to XeModex after bad repairs but will only use ModuleMasters.
So the point is, there are no rebuilders out there with 100% success rate but all will have a hit and miss here and there so asking on the internet for who's the best one does not work.
They all learn as they go with new and more intricate electronics for every new model out there.
