Well my oem crapped out at somewhere around 20k miles if memory serves me right on the 2004 . On the 1999 the valve lasted to approx 100k .
Not sure if rust is a factor as aren't they plastic ?
Was looking to see what people think of the impact to cabin cooling efficiency as on really hot days I don't see AC cooling in the 2004 ARC which was as good as the 1999. Don't know if they changed the compressor design or other elements of the AC system.
