GPost, the disk (that I think is the blend door) is moving when the re-calibration sequence is running. It moves back and forth, maybe twice, I could look again if important.
There is white grease on and around the disk, and while seems to turn its full range, it also seems to be struggling a bit to turn, so perhaps I get the code just because it is a tiny bit sticky. It does seem to go thru the motions.
I have not dug into the right side.
Is there something else to look at on the left side, such as, say, a position sensor or another moving part up above at the defroster, where I hear a servo gear or something, that might trigger a left hand side error code? This BB essentially says I should have a bad blend door shaft, but I do not.
There might be some sensor that tells the ACC that something is wrong with the left side blend door / shaft, and maybe this sensor is the only thing broken.
Also, I'll search the site for anything related to the coolant bypass, to try to find out where the vaccuum line is. I assume I would pull and plug it when I do find it. I don't know yet where the controler is, so I can't trace it from the controller. You'd be helping me to tell me on which side of the firewall I am looking for the controler / valve / vaccuum.
thanks
