While both motors have their foibles, very, very little has been written about bad Saab gearboxes - either manual or automatic - since the NG900 came out.
While anything can happen, the transmissions seem to be very well constructed, and well able to handle all the power the motors can deliver to them. In stock performance trim, anyway. The Aisin autoboxes just keep going, it seems.
One thing, though - Never, EVER have your transmission "flushed" with a machine that contains all the oil and/or uses some kind of flush chemical. There are basically two ways to flush the transmission without causing more problems:
1) the 3x drain & fill as you've done
2) a different method where you let the trans drain through one of the cooler lines (while the motor is running) and you refill at about the same pace. This is often cited on the Volvo boards, which use the same transmission.
My anecdotal evidence points to a flush causing the trans in my car to need replacement shortly thereafter. I bought the car cheap, with all records, and there were mere months (if not weeks...) between the "flush" and the "replacement"...
