5am Siren, already had BBAreman fix it Posted by jgARC03SW [Email] (#1216) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jgARC03SW) on Mon, 18 Nov 2013 06:28:19 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Is the siren issue connected to the clock or something?
I sent mine off to BBA reman after it starting blaring in the middle of the night. I had "service theft alarm" warning me that time. It's been fine in the year or so since.
No SID warnings this time, just my wife waking me up before sunrise that my car alarm was going off. I had to unlock the car in my driveway, and then I locked it with the key in the door (not sure if this matters to the alarm system). I read that if the sunroof leaks the center console can get wet, and I remembered uh-oh, I had the sunroof open part of yesterday but I checked and it was closed and the interior was dry. We did have storms blow through overnight.
I did notice my rear drivers side door was not closed all the way, it was locked but not flush with the rear panel. I wonder if that could have triggered it? Could the hood or other sensor have gotten wet?
