The Mercedes antifreeze, also known as G-05, is a pale yellow in color. With an old, yellowed reservoir, it almost looks clear. You can find G-05 in straight and pre-mixed (50/50) with water.
Dexcool is another animal entirely. Originally, it was a semi-permanent coolant fill that delivered a very long life to the coolant, and something like a five year change interval. It is a vivid orange, and you will not mistake it for anything else. On Saabs, it was the factory fill from MY2002.
There's no need to mix anything like DEXCOOL into your car. Get the G-05 (Zerex brand, IIRC). The genuine Saab blue coolant is essentially the same formula as the G-05, but with a deep blue color. They'll mix just fine.
DEXCOOL will also mix just fine, but when mixed, the "long life" basically degrades to "standard life", or about two years.
