You have to find those tabs on the corner marker/turn signal pieces for them to come out. Needed a flashlight and lots of patience and feeling around for this. This is because one or two of the screws for the headlight is underneath where the corner pieces are.
Someone perhaps on another forum posted the WIS pages for this with pictures which helped, but still that was done by feel. The two sides are different with respect to what your fingers have to avoid on their way to the tabs.
My battery was removed for safety (just in case I did replace the xenons without removal of the headlight assemby) and also to do the flash to pass mod, I didn't want to be connected to battery while working on the fuses. I also removed the flexible air hose on the passenger side to have more room for my hands.
Then the headlight assemblies need to be wiggled out carefully.
Then on the way back in, make sure to reattach the rectangular red connecter before wiggling the headlight back into place, lest you have to start over and wiggle it out again. Chances are I won't own the car long enough to make that mistake again LOL What happened was I crimped the wire upon reassembly which would not have happened if I reattached the connector first.
