Thanks for your excellent write ups on this topic, this was my primary guide to do this. Now that I have daylight again, I will go after that antenna connector, I rotated it hoping it would pop out but there looks to be several ears that have to be compressed on the inside.
The shift plate cover is being stubborn, dont know whether to pry white plastic outward from top so black plastic ear can pass through, pry upward between the white and black plastic pieces or push black plastic ears in from side while pulling up on panel, nothing works so far. Noticed a crack in the white plastic piece, this was preexisting as my dealer has been in here before on several occasions. Saw the photo on Fix my Saab where it looks like it came out easily...Hmm.
