A correctly working alternator always charges at a 13.5 there's nothing in a car that uses more than 12 volts. Even with a huge stereo with several amps the 13.5 alt will produce more than enough power. Might want to look into getting caps and hooking them up before the amp so the sudden drop in power from a hard bass line doesn't keep pounding on the battery which after a prolonged time (6 months to a year) kills it, depending on how much watts your pushing through your speakers as in upwards of 2000watts (4 10inch kickers 500watts a piece) 2 1000 watt amps & 2 farad caps
You'll blow out your ear drums long before you harm a correctly working alternator or the oem alt
Point being, what's the point of a high out put alternator? Waste of money in every way
