You need to install a farad capacitor. The link is to a e-bay sale I have nothing to do with the item. I linked it for informational purpose. The one in the link has a digital read out on how hard your bass speakers are pushing which makes this cap cost more. A normal 2.0 would cost around 25 bucks. There are all different size caps this one it a 2.0 sounds like you wouldn't even need that. A single farad cap 1.0 would work if you can find it. Would be like 15$
The cap installs in your power wire right befor the power goes to the amp. Try and get the cap as close to the amp as possible. What it dose is protect your battery, everytime the bass drops that power is immediately sucked out of the battery and the alt is immediately refilling the power. So over the course of a high energy bass song the power is being sucked out and refilled many many times. The battery isn't made for this and will ruin a good battery in no time.
The farad cap is made to protect the battery it stores up power and it takes the beating of the bass line not the battery. If you got the 2.0 farad it would last forever would be over kill getting the 3.0 but if you plan on adding more speakers, get the 3.0. The cap is for your sub's amp. If you have two amps powering subs get a cap for each amp.
When someone starts talking about an high output alt, its a 99% chance of a stereo being involved.
