yeah i would re-use the housing/back.
I put a very light coat of permatex ultra grey on both sides of the gasket.
The o-rings...
I read that Anders says to use the factory ones.
And its hard to tell if the ones that come with the kit are the factory size and material spec.
I got some oversized viton o-rings to see if they last longer.
Size 221 i think.
And used silicone to lube them.
I bought 6 of these $0.60 packs from Mcmaster when i ordered some other stuff.

...translucent white greases are corrosion resistant and contain a silica thickener that won't react with rubber. Suitable for use on O-rings...
