Various small leaks and a failing flex pipe, so I finally sprung for the BSR after reading reviews here and on Genuine Saab. After carefull jacking and bracing, got the car up high enough so I could use both arms...had to hack saw off one of the bolts where the flex pipe connects to the front pipe, then was able to wiggle the joint to break free the other bolt and snapped it off. After that, it was simple to drop the whole system and pull it out in one piece from the rear of the car. The factory exhaust is HEAVY...wow I think I dropped 50lbs by installing the BSR. It's a very nicely designed system, once you get the old one off it is very easy to install and position. Fitment is excellent. Nice tail tip. Maybe I became used to the drone of my leaks, but I find the new system very quiet. Almost wishing for a little more sound. I also installed the larger air intake snout and free flow filter. The car seems a little peppier, and I can hear a little more turbo whoosh. Nice.
