Are 17" Saab/BBS wheels on a Linear an alignment challenge? That is what the shop expressed to me when they noticed the pairing. Indeed they had no problem aligning my Linear sedan with 16" Saab wheels after installing new struts on it. Shop redid the alignment again today (after moving the wheels with almost new tires to the front) and car is driving much better. There is still some dropping of the steering wheel doing sharp parking lot turns so I will take Swedecar's advice and get the dealer to address this. At least the front tires didn't heat up today like they had been so I proceeded with getting two more tires to replace the ones that lost 2/32s over the last 1,500 miles. Wife keeps hinting it's time to get a new car but I'm staying strong! This weekend I will tackle replacing the tensioner/pulley assembly on my Linear with 139k on it as I think the original one that is still in place is the source of a rattle sound (alternator is only two years old).
