degree C do you think is too high for a 9-5 to run. This car can reach 100 C stopped in traffic , I try to turn on the fan at 95C.
I have used the 82 C thermo for 25,000 miles now and haven't took off the valve cover to look for sluge but oil stays clean for long period of time, but it always was clean has 114,000 on it now. I think the 9000 at some year had a lower oil temp thermo but it is different size than 9-5. Oil should reach 180 F to take out the water I believe.
Thanks for your input
