You must be right on the Springtime discounts on Konis. Best price I can find on FSD's now is around 725.00 USD. I swear I saw them last spring for around 575.00. So I will wait a few months.
Wonder if new springs are worth considering, I know they wont last more than 60-70k, but I really hate to use the old springs that are pooped out. I know about the rear spacers and all but no solutions for the low front end but new springs (although temporary). Dont want to jack up just the back of a car that already probably has a 60-40 weight bias F-R. The car is 1-1/4 low on all four corners and the front spoiler lip scrapes everything. If it gets much lower the body will hit the tires on full compression.
Did front sway bar ends last month, they were quite bad, got rid of the metallic rattle. Powerflex subframe bushings (6) go on next week, maybe my creaks will go away.
Be interesting what folks here think about Monroe OESpectrums or if anyone on this forum has used them. Some favorable comments on other forums. But I generally trust the folks here.
Some say the FSD's can be hard to find in stock...in which case the Koni Sports deserve consideration, but no Bilsteins based on my past experience.
