Drips on floor overnight? Seems like my o rings always leak first before the water pump fails. You are at the right mileage/age for this to happen, but if the three pulleys are original (tensioner, little pulley and bigger pulley at center), the idler pulleys are past due for a change. Of the three pulleys, the little idler on the top is usually the first to go. Fortunately, the easiest to change of the lot. I usually get at least 120-150k on the tensioner pulleys (NG 900's, OG 9-3's, 9-5). Hate to say it, but you are probably due for motor mounts at this mileage as well, good time to change all this out since you are in the neighborhood. New serp belt too.

I went back to the long belt setup on my 2004 9-5 Aero. It seems to idle smoother. It made no difference on the 2.0 motor in the 900/9-3, those smaller motors had less vibration.

Don't use cheap parts. I have had cheap idlers die as early as 6k.

My money is on the small dia. idler. If it spins very freely or has any movement or side play, it is soon to be toast.
