Denis,
Warning chime SHOULD typically be accompanied by a SID message or a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL).
In this case, I advise that you please check to see that all you MILs are operational.
This may sound a bit "far-fetched", but I have come across a number of used cars that customers bring in or dealers brought from auctions. They have had one or more of the MILs "removed" (some times actually had the LEDS gouged out of the circuit board) in-order to give the appearance that the vehicle is in perfect-working-order with No Warning Lights ON.
With the key ON and engine not running is a standard "bulb check", All the MILS should illuminate until the engine is stared. to see which MILs might be missing you may need to compare your instrument cluster's bulb check with another 9-5. Or do an image search for 9-5 instrument cluster/malfunction warning lights.
Either that or it may have been a quick glitch in the SID check-control system (lighting check, fluid-level sensor check, etc...). The SID may have been about to display a message but it was "resolved" before the message was prompted to display. Not common, but possible.
