Hi Jon
The top-side motor mounts are very easy, and in fact the passenger side one is all but removed to facilitate doing much of the work you intend to do.
The driver-side one is more or less under the fuse/relay block near the battery, and is an easy DIY. Search the board for lots of guidance. Depending on the model year the mount was either under the battery or the fuse/relay block -- the basic process is the same, just 3 more small nuts to remove if its under the relays.
I'm not sure that much of what you are embarking on shares common labor with the lower mounts and subframe, although when the subframe is dropped to do the bushings, the rear lower motor mount is a good "add on" repair. They do tend to go bad less frequently than the uppers and the "dog-bone" torque rod under the front of the car.
Good luck
