I would say that you got good use of your DIC - 140k miles. On my 1999 I was at 120k or so on the DIC when I sold the car and no CEL
The 1999s I believe were not updated to the newer predictive SW - which I think sometimes leads to premature replacement.
But your post is timely for me as just this AM my CEL is again lit, been running 8 months with occasional misfire CEL - there is definately a correlation with warmer outside temps as it's in the 50s and 60s in CO now.
