First, big kudos to Autozone. Of course my local store didn't have one in stock but the Miami warehouse did and they got it sent up on a truck (about 90 miles) same day on Saturday by 5pm. And when I asked about online discount codes they tossed me a 10% off on the phone order so got it for $218+tax.
Second, the new DIC is working great all week with no issues and codes so was very blessed. I put in all new plugs as well. Three of the old plugs were soaking wet with gas on the threads. Never seen that before.
Last, the DIC case had NO markings of SAAB embossed or SEM tag or anything. Not a Wells tag or anything. But the AZ guy looked at the info and pictures on their system showing it to claim to be a Wells OE and even showed me the Wells 800 phone number for support. So while not certain it is actually a Wells OE unit, it does have a lifetime warranty so I felt OK about it. The dielectric grease on the new DIC was basically hard so it might be an older unit. I put on fresh grease of course but still not certain it was a Wells. But lifetime full warranty.
