OpCom Amnesia over headlight leveling. OK. I unplug the front headlight-level suspension sensor. I attached my WinXP PC to the OpCom Reader, start the program, and I STILL get no DTCs. Something is obviously not talking in my OpCom system.
It does partially work as it reads B1600 which I think is typical for cars running SAAB Aux like mine to fake out the head unit into thinking it's seeing the CD Changer.
I'm running OpCom Revision B. Should I reload OpCom on my PC? Should I try a different version?
My local Indie will diagnose my flaky headlight leveling system for between $48 and $98 depending on what it is. They tell me the most common issue is the suspension mounted switches followed by stepper motors which they say are integral with the headlight housings and can't be fixed.
The headlights otherwise work perfectly.
Thanks.
