New to my daughter 2006 SC has one genuine SAAB key but second key is a "Clearcomm" key with a 3D-printed hard plastic head shell. This would not be so bad except the key shaft is made of softer metal and cut a little too thin as well. Upon her first use she accidently dropped the key and the tip bent so that it could not insert into the ignition. I have straightened it and it works, but this is really unsatsfying. I have seen pictures from a vendor site of this same key as an illustration of what they labeled "SAAB OEM Key" - for a very high SAAB price!

I am hoping that it is still possible to get the genuine article through someone like the SAABsite - can anyone give current feedback?
