The stripped threads made it from 60K to 115K, which is when I did the timing belt myself. Access is so poor to even see the head's threads and what I'm up against if I was to try and repair the threads. Maybe change it from a bolt to a stud and a nut could suffice. Problem at hand is trying to find where the coolant leak is originating from? All I can see from the top is what appears to be a dry thermostat housing to block connection. From underneath, coolant dripping off the lower curve of the timing belt cover. Sure wish I had a lift as I might be able to see better and a borescope to peek around with. An earlier thread regarding my coolant leak has a wonderful laundry list of things to check. I almost left the cam-belt cover off so I could get a better look for coolant trails.
