I wonder if I could get some advice. I have a 2005 9-5 Arc wagon with 85K miles. I recently replaced the throttle body for unpredictable surging at idle. The new unit which I believe is new seems more stable except when power is needed at around 2500rpm when you need the power to pull away. The car will severely hesitate and the engine light will flash on in some instances. My mechanic thinks it's the computer re-calibrating the acceleration tables. This has gone on intermittently for two months, since we replaced the throttle unit. I have spent quite some money and time with this and wonder if there is a step that has been missed with replacing this unit. Or is it a bad unit? Any help would be much appreciated, as this is a potentially dangerous scenario. Thanks!
