brake problem to a point

2000 aero wagon 235k almost, just shy of it. The problem is this, just about everything was fine until one day I had to hit the brakes hard to a point that I could feel the abs keeping the wheels from locking up. About a week after that the brakes started to seem to not be releasing fully when at a stop. I don't get that rolling back when at a stop (it's a manual) it just holds there without me pressing the brakes. At times, once pulled of from a stop the brakes will really be holding and it will feel as if I am pulling a trailer they are holding so much. Sometimes if I reverse for about a foot or two they seem to release and all is fine or after about 50 or 60 feet of going forward they seem to release and be fine. I was checking my oil one day and notice that the brake reservoir was completely full, seems as if almost all the fluid in the system is in the reservoir. I have not messed with anything yet cause everything is still working to a point that is okay and I wanted to get a idea of where to start with this. I guess my question is should I bleed the calibers or is there something else I should check? I can't tell which wheel is holding when this happens but to me it seems like the back wheels. Also if I do bleed the system will it mess with the clutch? Boy how I miss my standard 91 9000 turbo, knew everything about her and she was so simple, Big Bertha is what I called her lol. Any help on this problem would be great. Thanks everyone.
