It was nice to have just enough belt slack with the 2440 to allow me to fit it around all the pulleys properly with the tensioner held by its locking pin.
Only time will tell if this length belt will loosen early and cause the Power Steering pump to not turn. At least that is what I am guessing will be the first sign of a too loose belt on this engine.
