Longer term I plant to replace the caliper slider bushings that locate on the slider pins. The car is '06 w. Sport package and was new to us at about 112K miles - I figured three possibilities: 1) The rotors might be just slightly over size (doubt this, the edge of rotor and edge of pad match exactly); 2) The calipers might be rebuilt and not quite right part (but again, rotor/pad match); 3) The slider bushings are old and not locating the caliper quite as well as they once did. I don't know how close clearance between rotor and caliper are by design and how much deviation it takes to cause a clearance issue.
