But its pretty common for the 9-5 to go through batteries every three years. I've read about it here. I've experienced the 3 year time limit myself on 2 separate 9-5's. The last battery was a top of the line from autozone, it was a glass mat battery that I am pretty sure cost around $150. Thankfully it had a 5 year warranty, at 3 years the counter guy was nice enough to replace it under warranty. That was Feb, 2016. No problem starting since. But that was just my experience. Maybe you could swap batteries and try it, or see if you can buy and return the battery if it doesn't help. The major difference between our experiences is the warm start issue. I can't say it never happened to me, but it wasn't a recurring issue as I recall.
