Hello All,
A follow up on my problem.
This is the video of the dashboard showing the original performance. Basically 0-60 in ~10 secs in sports mode:
https://youtu.be/xRe40FuVykQ
Since the original post in April I've replaced the following:
- Positive battery cable, OEM (made a big difference in keeping the battery fully charged)
- CPK sensor,
- MAF sensor,
- Throttle Body + ECU software update.
All replacement parts are OEM, purchased from eEuro during Labor Day and July 4th sales. Last year I’ve replaced spark plugs, DIC, and all the filters and liquids.
The result - I am still not happy with the ride. It seems better than before, and improvement came with positive battery cable change and throttle body (changed today). CPK and MAF had no impact. After disconnecting the battery, I can get 0-60 in about 7 sec. But soon – basically as the car heats up - the performance degrades. If I apply WOT, the car is considerably slower than if I am gentle with the gas pedal. Gentle gets me thru 1800-2600 RPM band a bit faster, but still slower than on my '00 2kAero. And it definitely performs better when cold. will drive it some more and update again in couple of days. Meanwhile, any thoughts / comments are welcome.
Thanks,
Gore
