Low pedal caused by sticking ABS valve? Posted by crawdad [Email] (#1867) [Profile/Gallery] (more from crawdad) on Thu, 19 Jan 2017 23:57:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |

In a video on youtube about a common problem on the Ford Fusion, the mechanic states that after an abs event, the outlet dump valve could stick open allowing some fluid to bypass the line to the caliper and continue to flow inside the abs unit. So since some of the fluid is being diverted, it causes the low pedal. Is it possible that my abs has a valve that's always sticking open causing a low pedal? I've activated the abs on gravel roads and it seems to work fine. Can it be checked with a Tech 2? Or can it be bled more completely with a Tech 2?
