You start the engine and press the two ACC buttons that starts the calibration sequence. That way the blend door motor starts to rotate one way and while it is doing that, you try to mesh it into the blend door arm by wiggling the motor back and forth.
Sometimes you have to hit the calibration command several times before the motor shaft has rotated enough to allow it to fit.
