No scientific basis to my two cents but here I go: the suspension is tighter so our base 06 @ 125000km corners better like many pioneers have already said. I can't get a handle on ride noise since our 06 has michelin pilot sports V rated tires rather than softer T Perelli or Michelin MXV4 but I speculate the new spring/damper/bushing setup transmits I bit more noise.Higher output turbo causes more leakage/seepage/weepage where the opportunity exists. Dash has grown on me. Don't like front light output low beams (non halogens thankfully for the sake of low maint) in spite of new german flosser bulbs, single backup light, flimsy door handles with easy to gouge too soft finish. New black interior looks good but seems to show scratches more. Seats with white stitching gives the old Dame a snazzy uptown look. The 9-5, in spite of it's supersize me Saab heritage looks low to the ground and puny beside just about everything on the road today. Auto dimming rear and side view mirrors inferior to the manual dimming rear view and glare resistant side units of the bygone era. Front bumper prone to damage from curbs. Summary, the 1,367 changes/refinements are a welcome design delta from our two 2005's without jeopordizing the utility of the existing spare parts bin too much.
