Hi Itsasaab -
You probably already got this done, but my process:
1) take off the intake manifold brace (loosen 2 bolts, only remove one because the brace end is slotted).
2) from below use a Harbor Freight 'long reach hose grip pliers' - a set of three long-handle, needle-nose with the needle noses bent to form a circle at the end. The nice thing about these is the 15-20 degree out-of-plane between the semicircular pliers jaws and the body of the pliers. I can use the tips to press on the two tabs of the clip and slightly pry away from the trap using that 15 degree angle. Still a pain, jut barely room, but do-able.
